《佳期误》

曾经相互许诺去南洋，
在鱼尾狮旁共赋华章，
牛车水流下观看鱼乐，
圣淘沙上留欣赏星光。
有误佳期使人很感伤，
南柯的泪水湿了衣裳。
何时相倚在西窗月下，
共话诗文不是在梦乡。
Missing the Chance

We mutually promised to go tothe Southern Ocean
And together by the Fishtail Lion a poem compose
While watching fish run with the Oxcart water in motion
And enjoyingthe stars on the Saint Wash Bay in repose
I cannot but feel a liitle sad, having missed the chance
And see a dreamer's tears wet her clothes, running down the seam
When can we lean against the west window for such romance
As talking about poems, and this is not a fond dream
