叫我如何不想她

天上飘着些微云，
地上吹着些微风。
啊！
微风吹动了我头发，
教我如何不想她？

月光恋爱着海洋，
海洋恋爱着月光。
啊！
这般蜜也似的银夜，
教我如何不想她？

水面落花慢慢流，
水底鱼儿慢慢游。
啊！
燕子你说些什么话？
教我如何不想她？

枯树在冷风里摇。
野火在暮色中烧。
啊！
西天还有些儿残霞，
教我如何不想她？

How can't I think of her?

Moonlight loves the sea.

The sea loves the moonlight.

This honey-like silvery night;

How can't I think of her?

Fallen flowers flow gently on the water.

Fish swim slowly under the water.

Ah!

Swallow, what are you saying?

How can't I think of her?

The withered tree shakes in the cold wind.

Wild-fire burns at dusk.

Ah!

There's afterglow in the west sky

诗歌导读：刘半农先生于1920年在伦敦时写了一首白话诗《教我如何不想她》，1926年赵元任先生将此诗谱曲，在30年代中国青年知识分子中广泛流行。这首诗歌还首创了“她”字。据说，诗中的“她”，是中国文字的首创，以前的中国汉字中并没有‘她’字。结果，立即受到守旧者的反对。但由于好用，受到大家的欢迎，以后字典也收录了这个字。

A breeze blows on the ground. 　　
Ah! 　　
The breeze rustles my hair, 　　
How could I not miss her? 　　

The moonlight makes love to the sea, 　　
The sea makes love to the moonlight.

This sweet silvery night, 　　
How could I not miss her? 　　

Fallen flowers slowly float on the water, 　　
Small fish slowly swim beneath the water, 　　
Ah! 　　
My swallows, what are you saying?

The withered tree sways in the chilled wind, 　　
The prairie fire burns at twilight.

Remnants of sunset's orange clouds are still in the west.

此诗是随韵的变体，只多出了“啊”字的一行例外。又每段末句遥用叠句。除此之外，押韵格式用aabb ccbb ddbb eebb 。
朱大柟有一首《逐客》：
自从你搬到我心里居住，
苦恼就是你给我的房租；
但我总渴想有一天闲静，
心里没有你的舞影歌声。
……
